cosmogirl! music update!

Getting to sit in on interviews with celebs is definitely one of the perks of interning at CosmoGIRL!. Here's a quick update on some of the awesome bands we've gotten to hang out with lately.

Day 26 recently debuted at the top of the Billboard charts, but you might have gotten to know these five guys during last season's "Making the Band" on MTV. This interview was hilarious: Rachel, our entertainment editor, and I were cracking up about every five seconds! They really got into our game of Truth or Dare, and some of the challenges got pretty goofy, so check back soon to watch the video here on the site.

I really wasn't sure what to expect from the Clique Girlz, since they're a lot younger than most of the acts CosmoGIRL! covers (Paris is 12, and Destinee and Ariel are only 13!), but they were really cute in their coordinated outfits, and surprisingly professional... even though they did start squealing a little bit when they talked about performing with the Jonas Brothers and their upcoming tour with Raven-Symone!

The first things I noticed about The Veronicas were their fabulous outfits — think Amy Winehouse meets the Olsen twins. They were sweet enough to give us a mini-concert after their interview, and though they're petite, Jess and Lisa have HUGE voices live. Their new single, "Untouched", is more electronic than the songs from their first album, so check out the video. It was stuck in my head all day!
