peeved purchaser

Last Friday I decided to go shopping. I ditched the bigger department stores in favor of some cute little boutiques near my house in San Diego. I walked into the first store. There was nobody there. I mean nobody. Three sales people plus me and my big sister. Despite this, nobody said a thing to us when we walked in the door. They gave us the once over and continued their conversation. When my sister wanted to try on a pair of jeans, it took three of them at least ten minutes to get her in a dressing room. Unbelievable!

The next store we went into was equally hoity-toity. There were two employees and a Pomeranian with a rhinestone collar. Once again the women gave us the once over. However, THIS time, one of the woman says "they're low-budge." Upon hearing this my head started reeling. Who has the audacity to give me the once over and decide not to help me because she doesn't think I'll bank up her commission? She was right about one thing. I am on a budget, so when I work hard and save up some dough to buy a cute outfit, I deserve some respect and some high quality service.

Bottom line: I'm sick of being judged by annoying sales people!
