sequined tank top
Change your basic tank top into a fun new piece!

SUPPLIES: one plain cotton top, 2 yards of 1-inch wide elastic sequin trim ($3/yard, at fabric stores), a pair of scissors, straight pins, needle, thread ($1/spool, at fabric stores)
Step 1: Lay the tank top down flat.
Step 2: Wrap sequined trim around one armhole to measure, then cut a piece that fits completely around. Repeat for the other armhole, then for the front and back neckline to end up with four pieces total.
Step 3: Pin the pieces in place, lining up the outer edges of the trim with the edges of the tank.
Step 4: Hand-stitch trim onto tank, keeping both trim and tank loose, or it will bunch up. Cut off excess.
