my new prom show obsession

Monday nights, I’ve been watching my new favorite show on ABC Family, Greek. It’s gotten me excited for college life and thinking if I’ll join Greek life when I get to college. I was just about to flip channels, when what came on next caught my eye, America’s Prom Queen. Being in high school I figured this was a must see. I was right. The show takes girls from around the United States and tests them in different ways to see who is fit to be America’s prom queen. Plus, CosmoGIRL!'s Editor-in-chief, Susan Schulz, is a judge!

The show took my mind off of college and made me think all about my high school days. I remember going to my first high school dance and realized how much I have changed in these past four years. I might not be ready for it all to end, but I think I’m ready for when the time comes to move on.

Another thing about the show that I liked was in one episode they showed donating old prom dresses to girls who wouldn’t be able to afford it. There are so many places to donate to! I will definitely be sending my dress there and I'll be extra careful to keep it clean the entire night. It’s pretty awesome being able to turn prom into a situation where you can give back. Giving back is definitely a prom queen quality.
