BRONZE MAKEUP

Best for: Girls who want a touch of sun only on exposed body parts, like arms, legs, and face.

Commitment level: None — these wash right off!

Application Tricks:
■ Tint your face a little lighter than your body so you’ll look natural in your photos.
■ Take care when applying bronzy stuff like tinted oils or creams. Although these will “set,” the color can rub off. Put your dress on first, tuck a few old washcloths along the edges, then apply very carefully to your exposed body parts (this way your gown won’t get stained).
■ Avoid using these on areas of your body that sweat when you dance (like your pits or back!) — otherwise, your “tan” could run onto your dress.

Directions:
1. Just point and spray a bronzer onto your legs to camouflage imperfections.
2. Rub a dime-size blob of a sparkling tan-tinted oil onto your arms, legs, and collarbone.
3. Dust a powdered bronzer (from a compact) all over your face, then dab your favorite blush onto the apples of your cheeks for a healthy, glowy look.
