School uniforms aren't known for oozing glamour and style. They're designed to be bland and make you blend in, but there's still hope for you to stand out. We're going back to the basics to ensure that your new customized look lands you on the fashion honor roll.
Tights
Blair Waldorf isn't the only girl who can pull off bright tights and leggings, and they're a great way to add a splash of color to your monotone uniform. Try a cute pair with bows, or ones that pop in fluorescent colors and jewel-tone-saturated shades. Headbands
Your school may be strict about hem lengths, but they can't control your fabulous hairstyle! Mix things up with a thick tortoiseshell headband for a touch of prep, or try one with stripes or polka dots for something unexpected. Headbands are great because there's one for every outfit, and you can wear one with a ponytail for a sporty look and the next day slip on one with ringlet curls for a more innocent style. Cocktail Jewelry
Just because your uniform has to be subdued doesn't mean your jewelry does too. Big, bold pieces of cocktail jewelry will make a statement of style.
