andrew's first week

So it is my first day here at CosmoGIRL! and I have to say that I am excited to be here. After not working for about a month without pay it's reassuring to know I will have some sort of income for the next few months. But aside from issues of finance, I am eager to prove to everyone here at CG! that I have what it takes to be a part of this amazing magazine. Susan Schulz, editor-in-chief, was kind enough to bring Rachel and I aboard for the up and coming weeks leading up to fall fashion week. As you can imagine, I am one of only a handful of males working here—so the pressure is definitely on.

I have to say I am a little concerned though...I never really understood the female gender as a teenager, and ironically still don't to this day. Although I'd like to think I have learned a few things along the way, this is still going to be quite a challenge. With only a few months under my belt as an editorial assistant at JANE, I have to prove my ground once again. Wish me luck...
