POSITION: Executive Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief
WHAT YOU DO AT CG!: Manage the busy calendar and schedule of CG!'s head honcho, Susan Schulz, find your most secretive tales for the Secrets page, and find out what you're really thinking for CG! Pulse.
WHERE YOU WENT TO SCHOOL AND WHAT YOU STUDIED: I went to Fordham University at Lincoln Center, smack in the middle of New York City. My school didn't have a real "campus" and all the dorms were in one building. I didn't even have to go outside to get to classes an amazing thing when it was 20 degrees and snowing! I also loved that I lived on the 18th floor in an apartment overlooking the Hudson River. The view was breathtaking.
HOW YOU GOT YOUR JOB AT CG!: I was an intern for two semesters at CG! My first was in the reader services department, and my second was in the beauty department. Just two weeks before graduation, the reader services editor announced she was leaving, and a few people suggested that I apply for her spot. I landed the position and was ecstatic because I loved CG! AND I had a job right after leaving college. Fast-forward two years, and I'm given the superimportant job of being the editor-in-chief's assistant. It's hard work at times, but I love it!
FAVORITE CG! MEMORY: I met and shook hands with Chad Michael Murray in a Miami club where CG! was hosting a model search event. I definitely had a mini heart attack.
FAVORITE FASHIONABLE CELEB AND WHY: Ashley Olsen. She makes the simplest clothes (like loose white tees and black leather jackets) look so chic and stylish.
FAVORITE DESIGNER AND WHY: Phillip Lim. From flowy dresses to classy trench coats to sophisticated shorts, I've never met a piece that I didn't want to own. But since my budget is more Forever 21 than Lim's line, I'm restricted to online browsing only.
I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY: Iced coffee, Michele watch, and running sneakers.
