POSITION: Assistant Web Editor
WHAT YOU DO AT CG!: A little bit of everything (that's why the Web is so cool) — write stories and quizzes, review the newest gadgets on the market, pick out pics of celebs in weird outfits, blog about the latest gossip in Hollywood, plan all CG!s cool giveaways, and make sure the site stays new and cool all the time!
WHERE YOU WENT TO SCHOOL AND WHAT YOU STUDIED: I studied journalism at San Francisco State University (the best city in the world!), where I was the lifestyle editor at my school paper.
HOW YOU GOT YOUR JOB AT CG!: In college I had an internship at a fashion magazine and then a weekly newspaper. Three days after I was handed my diploma, I said good-bye to my favorite city and moved to NYC, hoping to break into the magazine industry. It took me about a year — after a few months of waiting tables I landed a job writing for a teen Website, and about six months later I came across the listing for my job on ed2010.com (a site for aspiring magazine editors), and now here I am!
FAVORITE CG! MEMORY: Recording our first-ever CG! podcast — who would have thought gossiping about Lindsay and Paris, comparing our favorite ChapSticks, and chatting about the best TV shows of all time would actually be a part of my job!
FAVORITE FASHIONABLE CELEB AND WHY: Mary-Kate Olsen, hands down! Some people may think her style is weird, but I think it's creative, original, and hot. I even love her over-bleached hair and baggy shirts with no pants!
FAVORITE DESIGNER AND WHY: I love anything vintage. If I could get my hands on an old Chanel dress I would be one happy girl!
I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY: High-waist jean short-shorts. I lived in them all summer long (except for at work, of course) and am dreading the winter, when I have to pack them away with the rest of my summer clothes. Maybe I can pull them off with tights underneath?
