Rachel gives you her step-by-step guide to shopping at her fashion haven, H&M

As I stated in my first interview for The Fashionista Diaries, I am the poster child for H&M. My friends beg me to take them shopping there because I have "the eye" to find the ultimate pieces. It's not an easy skill to develop, so to help you get it, I've broken it down for you:

Spend time scouring the racks. If you're in a rush, don't bother wasting your time because there are often hidden gems within the piles and piles of clothing.

Stick to basics... H&M never fails with basic button-downs, T-shirts, and tanks. Because I am addicted to black clothing, I have more black tanks from H&M than I can even count. Their button-downs are great: Even as a 34D I don't have trouble buttoning a size 6 top.

...But also be daring. Because the price tags are so low at this chain, feel free to splurge on uber-trendy pieces, such as funky bracelet-length-sleeve coats (hard to rock during a cold winter) or a wild animal-print dress. Even better is the wide array of daring sunglasses they have to offer. You can test out Nicole Richie-esque bug-eye shades or mint pastel aviators without spending your entire weekly allowance.
