"My mom and I were staying in a hotel one night, just hanging out and relaxing, when the person in the room next door turned up the volume on the TV as loud as it could go. We were annoyed, so we called the front desk to complain. They said no one had checked into that room, but they'd call just in case. We could hear the phone ringing through the wall, but no one picked up. Then the manager came up to our room and listened through the wall. He even checked all of the rooms surrounding ours, but they were all empty! The noise from the TV finally went away, but we were so freaked out that we switched rooms anyway. And we're definitely never going to stay there again!"
