"I was in love with this guy in my math class and I found out that he loved anime just as much as I do. So I decided to draw my own comic called Me and My Other Self. It’s about a girl named April (me), who opens a book in the restricted section of the library and out jumps a half-demon cat named Gwen. With Gwen’s help, April realizes that she can do anything she wants as long as she works for it. I gave the guy that I liked the part of my comic where April confesses her true feelings for her crush and they kiss. When he read the part where April says, 'Takara, I love you and I want us to be together!' he immediately caught on. He walked over to me and put his hand on mine and said, ‘Do you really like me that much?’ I nodded and he said, 'You could have just told me, but I love your comic so I want to read more.' I felt so happy! Ever since then, we've been going out."
