Step 1. Lie on your back with your calves parallel to the floor. Fold the band in half and hold it so your hands are shoulder-width apart. Place the center of the band against your thighs.

Step 2. Use your abs to crunch up, raising your shoulders off the floor as you stretch the band past the outsides of your thighs (the band provides resistance, making the crunch harder). Do 3 sets of 12 reps.
