Step 1. Stand on one end of an exercise band with your feet shoulder-width apart. Hold the other end of the band in your left hand.

Step 2. Keeping your left arm straight, slowly raise it out to your side until your hand is level with your shoulder, then return to your starting position.

Step 3. Repeat step 2, this time raising your arm in front of your body. Do 3 sets of 12 reps, then switch sides and repeat.
