Think of this as a phys-ed class that tones your butt, arms, and abs — without the uniform and President’s Fitness Challenge!

Remember in grade school when you looked forward to gym class? Well, that’s the idea of this workout: It gets your heart pumping and tones your legs, abs, and arms — and it’s actually fun. Bryan Winston, CSCS, a trainer at The Gym in New York City, designed the workout to alternate between strength and cardio moves so your heart rate stays up the entire time. Do the moves from start to finish three times in a row (it takes about 25 minutes). Keep it up for six weeks and you’ll look great in all of your classes!

EXERCISE
1. jump rope
2. lunge with arm extension
3. jumping jacks with arm raise
4. russian twist
5. ski jump
6. plank with leg extension
