Before tank top (and prom) season, tone your upper body with these moves. Soon you’ll be giving everyone the hot shoulder!

This workout, created by Jennifer Cassety, a trainer at Crunch Fitness in New York City, tones and tightens your shoulders, upper arms, and back — all the places your tank tops and dresses show off. Cassety suggests you do the workout two times a week, along with 30-minute cardio sessions (like jogging or dancing) three times a week. Keep it up for four weeks and you’ll want to go ride a roller coaster with your hands up — just to show off your hard work!

EXERCISES:
1. biceps curls
2. pilates abs and shoulders
3. double-wide push-up
4. swimmer shoulders

Didja know? Walking on sand is 50 percent more effective as a workout than walking on asphalt.
