Embellish contemporary orange flower arrangements (In the fall, you can find them at
JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores.) with TONS of clip-on plastic spiders (
click here to see an example). Make sure to remove any leaves or greenery so that the creepy crawlers really stand out. Sprinkle more spiders around the bottom of the vase to make it look like the spiders are swarming the table.

Use Halloween-themed
scrapbook pages with skull and crossbone motifs as placemats or just bright oranges and greens. Scrapbooking paper is super cheap and will instantly make any table look festive.
