I love fashion, so of course I admire Donna Karan. In the '80s, she redefined the way women dressed with "Seven Easy Pieces" for every body type. And today, Donna Karan International is worth millions. But despite being a legend in the material world, Donna's power goes much deeper than clothes. She has big designs for making our lives better like Spirituality for Kids, a program she created to teach kids compassion for every race, religion, and culture. Here's how you can take the spiritual road to success.
1. RISE TO THE CHALLENGE.
"I was always the worst student. I had to go to summer school for fashion! Then I got fired from my first job. People said I'd never make it as a designer. But what looks like a negative is a blessing: If you look at it as a challenge, it'll take you to the next level.
2. DON'T FOLLOW THE PACK.
"With the amount of people in this world, not everybody is going to find your ideas great. Like, I'll put on these pants and think they're the coolest things, and you might not. But individuality and uniqueness are my driving force. I never wanted to be 'one of everybody.'"
