"The story about being sexy in the March issue was very motivating. As a teenage girl in college, I feel a lot of pressure to wear more revealing clothes. After I started college, I began wearing heels with short dresses and low-cut shirts, instead of my usual jeans and Converse sneakers. After reading that article, I decided to go back to wearing my old clothes, because if a guy only likes me for how I look in a short dress, then he really doesnt care about me at all. Now I feel like I can be sexy with my mind, instead of my body. Thank you, CosmoGIRL!"

"I absolutely loved the 'What Is Sexy?' article. It was awesome, and its great to know that other people want females to move forward and gain their dignity back! The feminist article in last month's issue rocked too! I'm a total feminist, and the article is now laminated and taped to my binder for the world to see! Thank you so much I hope it inspires other people."

"I just finished reading this months CosmoGIRL!, and I just wanted to compliment you on the What Is Sexy? article. It was so great! You hit everything exactly on the dot, and you know what? You are the first people I have ever heard talk about that subject in depth. That article really made me feel good about myself that I really dont have to wear six-inch heels and a miniskirt to be beautiful, or even sexy. My goals and means of achieving [these qualities] are sexy all by themselves. I hope that everyone reads this article especially entertainment and marketing companies. My generation is supposed to be the mode of change in this world. Thank you for such a great article."

"The 'What Is Sexy?' article in your March issue of CosmoGIRL! was inspiring, and I was very pleased to read it. I am a 16-year-old girl who believes that modesty is sexy to a certain extent. I really enjoyed reading your article and with your permission, I would love to post it on the MySpace bulletins for all my friends to read. I think that it is a very important message that needs to be shared with other girls my age."
"Not to be offensive, but in the article it stated that the media affects the outlook that young girls have on themselves, but in your last issue, there was an ad for Paris Hiltons new fragrance. I felt it was a little hypocritical to present her as the overly sexy stereotype, then promote her ads ... thats just my opinion."

"Hello! I am writing in response to 'What Is Sexy?' by Marina Khidekel. I usually dont read CosmoGIRL! (Im 25), but I happened to pick up the March issue while in line at the grocery store.
I have always been considered sexy, even when I was very young. While many may view this feminine quality as a blessing, please know that it is more often a curse. Men are usually solely interested in having sex with me. They rarely view me as anything more than an object. Women are even more difficult to deal with. They are usually extremely cruel and often make assumptions that have no basis in reality. I have dealt with the cattiness and unfair judgment of women since my high school years. Unfortunately, I still deal with the rude behavior of women on a daily basis. I have always wanted others to know how hurtful and damaging this can be.
In contrast to my appearance, I dress very modestly. I hope that I am able to set an example for young girls who feel that they have to live up to certain media standards of beauty. I truly believe that this article will enlighten young girls, allowing them to feel comfortable with themselves and accept themselves as they are. I would like to applaud CosmoGIRL! for such an informative article."
